Well, I did make it! There certainly was quite a collection of our favourite marque and reasonable cross section to boot. Personally, I was really pleased to see the 80's, S2's, RS2's, 80 Cabriolets, C5 RS6's, UR Quattro's, in fact anything pre 2004. Some of them were exceptional, I thought. Not so much for me, the modern stuff - as beautiful as so much of it is, it ****** well should be! Neither am I a fan of the ridiculously lowered mobile juke boxes (lowering is one thing, but to the point where the edge of the rim, never mind the tyre, is getting overly acquainted with the paintwork is surely taking it a step too far?) Overall, an interesting few hours but, at risk of sounding a grumpy old man (I am, so why not), was the DJ shipped in from Ibiza without any idea that there are other tastes in music?!
Okay, Okay - I've always liked Triumph Stags, perhaps I should f**k off and get one!
P.S. Before anyone says it for me, I do realise, as in all walks of life a each to their own...........
