So for a while I've only been cleaning my wheels with CarPro Iron X - it does a great job, and looks cool turning purple - however with me cleaning my car once/twice a week I was considering that it was a slight overkill, and also pretty expensive as it's not the cheapest of Iron X products (as it's one of the best!)
After speaking to Craig at CarPro UK about what else I could use, he suggested a newish product I haven't heard of before from Autoperfekt, so I thought I would give it a go!
The product can be mixed 1:20 or 1:50 depending on soil levels, I mixed mine to 1:20
My wheels haven't been cleaned for a week and were dirty, but nothing really baked on:
I liberally covered the wheel in cleaner and worked roughly around the spokes with a MF wash mitt - spending no more than 30-40 seconds on each wheel. The cleaner cut through brake dust and dirt with no effort at all, and after a quick blast with the pressure washer they were spotless.
Very impressed with this product, in terms of ease of application and results - yes it's similar to other wheel cleaners available, but at a 1:20/1:50 dilution rate it's very cost effective.
