Avant boot cover position

I've noticed by boot cover is set back from the tailgate slightly. It goes further but then retracts about 50 mm

When I activate a window switch it moves upto the tailgate but then retracts 50mm again.

Its as if its home position is wrong

Any ideas ???

Don't fully understand what you mean but on mine,when i open the hatch the cover does move back & sit raised up to allow better access to the load floor. When i close the tailgate the cover lowers back down & goes full across the load area. Hope this helps?.

The gap between the tailgate and the load cover is normal... yes its a large gap. Never noticed the load cover 'twitch' when i use the window switch

Ah it does seem large. I never noticed it bit had something bright in the boot when the sun was out so it highlighted it through the tinted glass
