Are the springs sided? I’ve got a couple of Gen springs to fit as I’m removing the adjustable ones.
I noticed that the springs are colour coded and wondered why?

nope either left or right , well per axle that's is.
colour coding is to identify what variant they are for , so will vary due to spring rates on differeing models.
they both need to be the same coding and the correct ones for your application or as close as possible.

Cheers for the reply, So these I have or not a matched pair?

Great! Anyway to tell from the colour codes which one is right for mine?

if you go to the parts database section at the top of this forum, then choose what variant you have , it will list what the springs are for your model and what colour code they should be.
I've made it a bit easier for you.

then choose your specific model/year.

That’s great, many thanks. Guess I’m back to the breakers with these springs.

Still a load of choices, going to have to dig the build codes out of the handbook.

there wont be many if you have the specific year and model of your car, a lot are used across all models but only a few are for your car.

Ring TPS , quote your reg number or chassis number and ask for a rear spring and what its part number is.

Think I’ve sorted it, I applied the chassis number and it narrowed the choice down to one :- 8E0 511 115 DL
