Hey guys ...

Just finished wrapping my b pillars.

Apologies for the low quality pics and the way this will look, but don't have my laptop to do this as a step by step guide but these are before during and after pics.

I couldn't find any help on wrapping on here or the internet, so went in blind..

Started with a hair dryer and plastic scrapper to try and lift the paint.

This is **** and doesn't work.

This is my first time trying to wrap stuff so no it's not perfect and could get a better result if you paid a pro, but I've got 6 weeks off and 3m2 of wrap from ebay.

Decided to start rubbing down with 800 wet dry paper to get it smooth. I did test a wrap out and as you can see, it still wasnt smooth enough, but I did use that as a test to make sure the lines and air bubbles were out etc.

After that I rubbed down with alcohol and dried with micro fibre cloth.

Laying the wrap on is fine be carefull and what I did. Was start at the top and worked my way down pushing all air bubbles out with cloth and squeege.

Carefully cutting just more than you need to to tuck the wrap under, using a hair dryer to make the wrap maliable.

Before going to a finer cut and pushing under the trim so looks seemless.

This is by no means perfect and possibly not the way to do it, but it's how I done it and will post more pics tommorrow.

In certain lights you can still see the "step" but it's minimal and I can probably live it, unless we're still in lock down and I have nothing better to do still.

I did the other pillar aswell and is much betyer ( just need to crop the other pics as there only 2mb limit)

Any questions Just ask

Like I said not perfect but quite pleased and a damm sight better than before

Electric sander using a 100-400 grit to get flat, then 800-1500 fine, then wrap bud.
