B3 80 project

New to the forum guys! Been restoring/cleaning up my 1990 b3 80 1.8e but want more power looked at lots of options but think I'm going to go with a 2.0 16v I have a couple questions, I think there is a fwd one but most of the ones I see are quattro if I can't find a fwd engine is it easy to put a fwd box to it? Also as the b4 engines are more common is there much fab work on the subframe? Has anyone git experience of putting this engine into a b3? And I don't want that 'don't bother too much work' the car is off the road and I have time so I just want some advice and know if anyone has done it cheers again

& let me know if your interested , putting the 1.8t engine in the b3 is one of the most common & easy conversions to do & allows for far more scope
