afternoon people......got the dreaded tapping noise come up today which sounds very similar to a failed lifter(had previous experience on my Mitsi VR4),but never worked on a diesel before, can't imagine a lot of difference other than amount to change, Mitsi had 24 of the buggers, with the Audi having 16,priced them up at local dealer and came in at reasonably priced £13 each,so looking to do myself(also did my Mitsi V6)......has any body changed them themselves who can advise on changing them ?...any specialist tools required etc?....cheers dave
