B8.5 Grille question (A4 2013-2015)

Hello ALL,
Im looking to black out my B8.5 SE Grille (not just the outer chrome, but the grey plastic inside it too)

Im told that vinyl wrapping cannot be performed on this part. My questions are:

1. Has anyone successfully painted theirs?
2. Does a black edition and/or S-Line B8.5 Grille fit the SE?

Have you considered plastidip?

Yes the grilles are interchange as long as they're the same generation and facelift version.

for the trouble you could buy an RS replica from Xenonz for ~£200
