Q5 Bang and Olufsen retrofit

What is involved in retro fitting the B&O sound sytem, are the speakers different or is it just the amp and subwoofer? i really hope there isnt wiring changes as i dont fancy stripping the car. i really hope its just plug and play lol.

Unlikely it will be plug n play. You’ll need all the specific wiring to make the B&O system work.

Maybe cheaper/better to go aftermarket?

Yeah i seen the hazzy days. the standard sound sytem has a subwoofer in the boot doesn't it?

I don't know - both SQ5s I owned had the B&O with the sub was located in the space-saver spare wheel.

yeah i think this one has it in the boot. looking at aftermarket as it seems to be more bang for the buck
