Battery terminal bolt size.

I am going to buy a Ctek trickle charger and want to have a permanent connection to the battery, what size are the terminal bolts so I can get the right size for the eye connector?

In my experience 10mm, usually the ctek loom is suitable.

The fastners/Nuts are 10mm spanner size but the actual thread size I believe is 6mm

thats right i have the c-tek and you can but the adapter that goes on the terminals and connects straight into the charger. That what I have

batteries should ALWAYS be charged outdoors or in very good ventilation , charging produces explosive hydrogen gas , not a good idea to have a permanent charger connected in the boot or under the bonnet notwithstanding the attached ventilation tube the old merc A series had the battery under the driver seat also a dodgy decision even if modern batteries gas less than older versions
