Beetle sport gear knob on 1999 A3

Looking to update my gear knob, gator & surround with this beetle sport gear knob.

The one in the photo is a 6 speed, but they also do 5 speed.

Just wondered if it would be the same fitting on the Audi as the VW Beetle? I think it looks pretty smart (well better than my rev 1 plastic molded gear knob & gator!)

I've recently fitted one to my S3 and the base is not the same! The gaitor is of a similar size, but it will need to be modified to fit. You'll have to remove the plastic ring from around the base of your OEM gaitor and transfer it to the Beetle Sport one.
