Best tyres for a3

ive an 08,2.0 tdi a3, first mot January past. Stuck two cheap front tyres on it, for mot
dont really like them. What is possibly the best make and type of tyre to get. I'm thinking if getting two new ones, put them on the back and move back tyres to front. Any one ideas and thoughts on this. Live in Glasgow Scotland. So up here somewhere would be ideal

Tyres are very personal. I get on well with Toyo Proxes T1R's, Continental Sport Contact 2's, Kumho KU31's and Goodyear Eagle F1's
