BKD engine rough idle

My car has developed a rougher than normal idle, jumping from 900rpm to 1K or dipping to around 850rpm. Sounds as if the engine is cutting out for a split second then back to normal. It only happens when its not up to temperature. Sorry if this has a thread already but was wondering if anyone had an idea of what the problem could be.

I would check fuel filter & also maybe do an injector clean via a purge with some liquimoly, I'm due to do my 3dr again soon

Coolant sender is another, maybe this is playing up as they do with age.

I'll give that liquimoly stuff a go, I've heard a lot of good things about it but never used it myself. Would you recommend running it directly through the fuel lines or just adding into the tank?

I use in a glass jar with 2 silicone pipes & inline filter & run engine until it's empty almost.
