i have a 170bhp black edition and was wondering if any one has experience of getting these remapped? Revo are currently offering 25% off so it's around £270 all in. They advertise up to 208bhp, and up to 318lbft of torque. Car has sufficient power as it is, but for £270 it's not a huge out lay. I had a revo stage one in my s3 and it was crazy the difference from standard! As far as I'm aware, revo is the only remap available in my area (inverness)
Also, I assume this could cause an issue if I was ever to need to claim anything on my warranty?
Cheers

Get a DTI tuning box, will give u the same power increase but is removable so u can take it out before any work at stealers

A remap will invalidate your warranty. If you want to keep your warranty in tact then as above a tuning box would be best.
Just had a DTUK: http://www.diesel-performance.co.uk/
fitted to my 535d and it has made a massive difference.

I have a Revo re-map on my 2.0 TFSi A4 Quattro, and it is pretty quick when you floor it at most speeds. (although I cannot compare from standard as the revo was on the car when I bought it last October)
I have no idea what the power & torque gains are over standard, although I do plan to get it on a rolling road soon so I can find out those all important magical numbers.

Hi I have a DTUK box on mine and it is really good I have been running it for over a year and I recently upgraded to the latest version, much easyer to switch the maps as it has a touch pad on the top of the box as well as led to indicate whic map you have selected.

I have had my 177 from new I drove it to 6000 miles before fitting the box and I have done 33000 miles to date and the difference with the box is very good as well as an mig improvement.

Have a look at the thread I posted

Thanks for help guys. I take it you just plug the box into obd connection and select which map you want? Is it really as simple as this?

Hi the boX comes with its own cabeling as it goes in line ... very easy to fit takes longer to hide the cable than to fit the box ...

Where are you located ??

It is very simple, it connects to plugs/sensors underneath your bonnet. The first one is located at the end common rail if you take the engine cover off, the other one is the boost plug and im not sure where that is on your particular engine but when you order the tuning box you will have full instructions on how to fit it with photographs. There is also a 24 hour support line if you need any help.

Andrew the owner is a member on here: http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/members/abyss.46476/

Dont forget you can get abit of discount with being an Audi-Sport member too.

This is the box you want: http://www.diesel-performance.co.uk/systems_available.php?id=2198
Its the Ultimate Control for the Audi A4 2.0 TDI 170PS CR Stage 2 (CRD-T)
You do not need any another mods.
