black smoke from exhaust

Hi,

Over the weekend i have noticed that when i accelerate i get some black smoke from the exhaust, does anyone know what this could be? I had my car remapped around 2 weeks ago

It'll be split pipe/ hose or connection , locate first , easy when they whistle their location .

Thanks i’ll have to take a look, i haven’t heard any whistle i must admit when i stood behind my car and got someone to rev it, i only saw a very small amount of smoke come out

Could be running rich at from the map - at least you know it's getting fuel...

Did you get your DV replaced when they mapped it? Usually the first thing to go. Second thing is the lower IC pipes.
