Worth having instead of miltek for a revo'd car?

Some people on here say that the milltek go rusty thats why i am going for the blueflame with a stage 2+ power upgrade

I have a blueflame on my stage2+ edition 30 which is very well engineered.
Used Milltek previously on my mk4 turbo but had issues with the corrosion and drone.
I know there are many people that have been more successful.

are there any performance gains to be had by just replacing the standard downpipe and cat with the blueflame 3" downpipe, but keeping the standard audi exhaust ?

I'm not interested in changing how the car sounds, only interested in more power

Other people have done similar with Milltek cats/down pipes, I beleive it's a simple case of mating it to the rest of the cat back system which will be smaller in bore so you will gain the bulk of the power, that said if you're thinking about going for stage 2+ I'd recommend going for the complete turbo back system.
