Hey everyone,

I have the basic mmi system with Bluetooth .
First of all, when I had a Google pixel 2 phone and connected it to the car, the system always told me what song I was playing and I could skip songs using the steering wheel controls.

However, I've recently switched to a new phone, sony xz3 and it's All connected up to the car as usual. But this time it can't tell me what song is playing and I cant skip tracks via the controls, I have to do it via my phone.

I'm so confused if it's an issue with the phone or cAr

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its the phone not the car. I have an XZ2 and had the same issue from day 1. What you need to do is enable developer options and change the Bluetooth to 1.4. Let me know if you need exact details or you've already done it
