Both headlight units fault

Hi guys need some help just had my headlights checked due to them not coming on have been advised that both are Bust

The Audi specialist said that this is super rare for both to be done.

Basically the units are getting power DRLs indicators all working except the main beam.
Ballasts bulbs and the ballast to bulb cable all working.

The smaller cables going to the ballasts in to headlights is the issue, one has burnt out and one is been snipped by the leveling motor. (so specialist says)

Can these be repaired with a simple replacement wire because I don't want to fork out over a grand for replacement units.

The car is not even 4 years old yet but out of Audi warranty.

Help would be greatful.
