Morning gents,

I'm hoping that someone might know a little bit better than me for this.

I took a rather spirited drive and found that as a result my brakes got very hot (so hot it shut down the ACC, stop/start and some other features-whoops!) and the pedal is now rather spongy. I was looking to bleed through with some new fluid but someone mentioned that you had to do something through VCDS rather than just pumping the pedal and working the bleed screw as you would on old school cars.

Anyone able to confirm? Or have any advice on bleed order of the wheels if I can just do it the old fashioned way?

Thanks,

Dan
