Hi all,
Can anyone assist in telling me the size of brake discs I need on my 2010 Audi A3 Sportback 2.0tdi Quattro 170. It's the black edition S-Line.
I've been told there are 3 different sizes of brake discs but I don't know which size I have.
Thanks in advance

Listed on AudiZap (http://audi.7zap.com/en/rdw/audi+a3+s3+sportb+lim+qu/a3/2010-646/6/) are 5-different sizes: 1) 253mm dia x 10mm thick; 2) 282mm dia x 12mm thick; 3) 256mm dia x 12mm thick; 4) 272mm dia x 10mm thick; and 5) 310mm dia x 22mm thick: so, as SootySport suggests best "take a wheel of and measure it." would be easyest. Alternatively, telephone your Audi parts dealer and ask the Audi Part Number and then oogle that for details.

Find the PR sticker for the car, usually a copy of it in the service book or the front of the manual. One also located in the car usually in the spare wheel well somewhere.

On the sticker are all the options fitted to the car.
If you look at the parts listing for the car
http://www.oemepc.com/audi/parts_ls...010/hg/6/catalog/au/drive_standart/646/lang/e
You can see there are several brake options and the associated PR codes are listed by them. I am assuming you are looking for front brakes.
Pretty much your front brakes will be the Teves 312mm option with PR codes 1LJ , 1ZA , 1ZD . You should find one of these in the options list.
