Brembo GT pads wear rate

Jumped in my car today and the brake pad sensor light came on the dash. I only got some new pads definately no more than 10,000 miles ago. I haven't had chance to look at them because its dark and wet but wondered if 10k was about right. So roughly what mileage are you guys getting out of a set of pads? I'm wondering whether a set of Ferodo's would last slightly longer.

Have you visually checked to see if they are low?

That said, I barely get 10K miles from DS2500s and thats a hard compound.

I;m going to check in the day light. Think its going to have to be a wheel off! I'm ****** off at £125 a set from Seat they ain't cheap

For the 312mm calipers, Ferodo DS2500 pads are 135UKP a set...

For the Brembos, DS2500s are only 95 pounds a set!
