What is the best route to take for the power supply for an amp from battery to boot

What is the best route to take for speaker cable from h/u to amplifier in boot

There is a rubber grommet next to the pollen filter to run the power cable from the battery,then run it down the passenger side.I run all my other cables down the drivers side to the boot.

Or take it through the ECU cover (there's a spare rubber grommet on the main grommet), this drops right down into the drivers footwell
