cabriolet passenger side door sill leak, ??

hi

my passenger footwell has been wet recently, and i dried it out.
its just started raining heavy so went out to check,
and ive seen a drip/water coming in from under the plastic door sill trim.

would this be a new door seal to fix, ??
or something else??

You need to remove the door card & check if the seal is intact, you can likely repair it with some tape. Also check if the drain holes are clear in the bottom of the door.

its not coming from the door,
if you open the door, you then see the sill/step trip, its trickling from under that down inot the footwell.

sounds like main seal around door aperture, is seal crushed anywhere ?

no, seal doesnt look crushed. no holes etc.. either.

cant see how its getting into the car,
dont fancy trying to pulled the trim up.

This is a common problem with cabs mate they leak from behind the door speaker seal. Remove the three bolts and silicon seal it and bolt it back on. Done!
