Im only 1900 miles in yet when I washed it yesterday it's caked in tiny little tar spots and I mean they're all over the car, ibis white doesn't help but close up it's really noticeable.

So do I remove them myself and if so can anybody recommend a product or should I have them professionally removed?

Dead easy to do yourself. I've always found Autosmart Tardis to be the best https://autosmart.co.uk/ctar014d-tardis.html but Autoglym Tar Remover is also good http://www.halfords.com/motoring/ca...lish-wax/autoglym-intensive-tar-remover-325ml

WD40 is also good for the odd little spot

Tardis is head & shoulders better than anything else I've tries & it's so easy to use. I use a spray bottle & the tar virtually runs off, then a blast with a hosepipe & you're done. Lighter fluid is an alternative .

Iron x should shift it, but it'll also strip the wax off, and possibly any ceramic sealant..

You can use CarbonColletive React which is PH Neutral, so no harm will come to your Wax, Sealants or Coatings.

Is that only for wheels though...

No, works fine on body work, I used it to remove tar and iron fallout when I first got my car. Works a treat.

If anyone would like some Tardis, I have a half full 5 gallon can. Happy to pop some into a spray bottle but obviously collected only from Huddersfield.

Whatever you use make sure you dab it on and off. Dont rub or wipe as the spot can carry grit with it, or if not fully dissolved its still enough to scratch.
