A whopping £986! I think it was £86 for the service and £900 pound for the audi stamp, between that and i've just bought 4 toyo proxies I could of bought another car. On the plus side had a certificate for free Mot for life so make my money back after 20 years hahaha

That's crazy prices.

i agree ,independant vw audi will charge less than half that price .you may have mot for life but thats subject to going to a franchised audi dealership

Tell me about it - my car's booked in with Audi Maidstone next weekend.

£309 for the service and £549 for the cambelt and water pump.

That's £858 smackers in one hit.

I'll be able to save a bit by not requiring the air filter and spark plugs that they quoted me for, but it's still a fair whack...

Indepedents every time, much cheaper, genuine parts and more often than not a better, more personal service.

I used to do the franchised dealer thing for services and repairs, but i wised up a few years back and wont ever go back.

Horses for courses i guess.

What a rip-off! My specialist charged me just over £450 for an oil service and cambelt using genuine parts including the waterpump and tensioners!

I use a VAG specialist up here in north east of scotland, camshaft sensor, timing belt water pump, bearings pulleys all belts coolant and labour £503...

Not too bad. Top notch service and car was ready in around 4 hours

Labour was free though.
