The car Audi a3 2.0tdi 170 2007 dsg. 74000 with full audi service history

Ive had the car just shy of 2 weeks. Since owning the car ive had an oil service (longlife), cambelt/waterpump and dsg oil change.

Now when cold it wont start on first crank only on 2nd attempt. Its fine when its warm still pulls well, no smoke etc. Now it may be me but i am sure this problem occured since i had the first job carried out which was th engine oil change? Is beggining to worry me somewhat now as it took me along time to save up for this car, and had always been my dream car.

double check they haven't vastly over filled the oil but other than that i cant see any possible link between starting and an oil change.

Try jumping it and see if it starts better, could just be that the car sat for a while before you bought it and the battery has become a bit lazy now its back in use. Its prob the original so could be nearly 5 years old. If it spins a bit quicker with a jump and starts better then you might need to replace the battery before the winter
HTH.
