Hello Guys, new 2017 forum outlook, looked fresh..

I have been doing weird experiment in the last 2 years. I had oem airbox box narrow side panel removed-the side had a short pipe goes to the side panel. The fuel consumption around the city is 8.8l per 100km. So I brought another oem airbox to see if the fuel consumption use the same. With oem stock, its quiter but fuel went up to 10.1 per 100km. It shows on the display. My question is WHY????? too much air or too little?? Thanks for your explanations...

you are driving faster because it is quieter ?
