Can you Retrofit sat Nav in an A1?

I have ordered an A1 and we just tried to add the technology pack to find out car build date has been bought forward by 12 weeks and we can’t.

Do you know if it is possible to retrofit sat nav into the A1?

I would imagine that an Audi dealer would be happy to do a retrofit but it would probably cost a lot more than the factory price. Could you not use Google Maps? Constantly updated with no subscription fee and uses little data.

Yep! But it is the OH’s first brand new car and she wants the Tech Pack mainly for the Sat Nav.

I think the annoyance is that she can’t re-order without losing £1500, making the sat nav £3000, especially when the car build date has been February this entire time and then switched to this week. Especially given we wont take delivery till March irrespective of when it turns up!

Ill have to see if they can.

The dealer won’t be happy holding on to it for 3 months. Assuming they do, your battery will have a shortened life.....
