Hi, got a weird one here.
Trying to program a friends S3 8P key and struggling. Swapped the immo chip over fine, no issues starting the car. But it wont take the keyfob presses whilst the key is in the ignition (which needs to be on to keep the module powered). I cleared all keys prior, as normal.
If i try with the old fob (which now doesnt have the immo chip in) the remote programs fine.
I swapped the PCBs back over, to check the new PCB was ok and it programmed fine, with the old (previously working) PCB now in the ignition key, not being picked up.
Figured I'd just program that way, then swap the programmed PCB into the fob with the immo chip - but the PCB loses it's program once the power goes...
Any ideas please?
