Just downloaded this CarCam App and its a nice touch to use on an Iphone for recording your travel down the road just in case some nice person wants to do the slam on the brakes game with you for the old insurance claim,

its £1.49 and its worth a punt against spending £30+ for a scren camera,

Not really, I'm using an iPhone 4s and a £15 universal phone mount from Maplin. It's only important that you have the camera clear and it's not loose or shaky. I've shot some demo and test videos and put them on YouTube, here: CarCamApp - Dash camera app for iPhone - YouTube shot on both my S-Max and my wife's new Beetle for some examples.

I found a way to connect a usb webcam to the iphone using CloudFTP ( Why buy iFlashDrive? When you can get iUSBport. ), can I use it with your app ? instead of using the cam of the iphone ? Thanks !

Short answer for anyone interested, is not, it will only work with native on-system cameras.
