CD changer cable

A friend of mine is looking at installing a Phatbox into his B7 - can anyone tell me if the car is prewired with a CD changer cable?

My S4 saloon has it as standard, i've fiitted a phatnoise as well.

I dont think so!...
B6 and B7 autochangers are in the glovebox if specified. There is no factory fitted front to back cable I dont think...

Is there likely to be a cable hiding behind the glove box then or do we think no cable at all?

If I had a set of keys I'd pull his stereo out, but I don't! If anyone knows great, if not I'll tell him to go buy a set of keys and we'll have a look.

No cable from factory, you'll need to get one from the dealer.

correct; about 15 quid for the glovebox changer lead and about 40 quid for the long one that will reach the boot with the DIN style plug on itg. Its in the accessory section of ETKA
