Change headlight unit

Hi All,

I have an audi B7 with the xenon headlights factory fitted. The passenger side is playing up flickering the cost of ballast and bulb is really expensive.

I can purchase a set of halogens units for cheap. My question is can I just unplug the xenon headlight unit and replace with halogen units.

Any advise is welcome.

Any advise on what I should do? Should I change the bulb and hope that cures the issue? Like £90 for a DS1 bulb is expensive and seen cost of over £300 for a ballast.
