Change of insurance company

Hi!

My english is not best so i need a bit of help ive just cancel my policy with Direct Line (pay by instaltments) the said it will be cancel charge. They asked me to send certificate back to them ( i could not understand the address that bloke on the phone told me) Direct Line Customer Service Dep. ................ 55 .... Street... Glasgow (cannot understand postcode either..) i asked to text me on my mobile or send e-mail... no help... Now How long im covered now?? When shall i get my new policy (a lot cheaper with different insurer). Please help Anyone who dealt with direct line?

I would imagine it will be cancelled with immediate effect.

Take out insurance from now mate with the new insurance company - chances are, your car wont be insured with direct line anymore...

Make sure you send the certificate back though or they can charge you until the day it is posted. The address you need to send to should be in the paperwork you already have.
