Changed fuel filter, now won't start...

Hi all.

I changed the fuel filter on my 3.0tdi 2007 a4.
Everything went fine, I filled the filter with as much diesel as I could. Started the engine, it started for a few seconds and then died....

I have cycled the ignition a few times and let it sit for a few hours. It now just cranks but will not start....

Any tips?

I have looked on my vcds and I do not have an option to prime the pump which some have suggested on previous posts...

I also own a Ford Connect van which are buggers for air locking after a filter change.
The drill with those is either tow it, if it's a manual.
Or, crank-stop-release air from injector unions-repeat.

So just crack the injector nuts in turn and crank? Thanks for replying

Yup, never tried it on the Audi but it worked on the Ford, took a few rounds of the process but it did get enough of the air out for it to fire.

Spray bottle and brake cleaner, light misting in the intake until runs back on diesel job done

Thanks. Just kept cranking. All good now.

Mine did this after a filter change stuck some jump leads on it and carried on cranking until it started job done
