I'm thinking about installing silvered LED bulbs in the front indicators of my 2011 S3 (PSY24W HI POWER SMD INDICATOR LED - CANBUS FREE AUDI BMW MERCEDES | eBay) to modernise the front end and lose the "fried egg" appearance. However, bulbs are accessed through a round hole the size of a coffee cup at the back of the xenon headlight unit and everything looks very awkward and extremely tight. In fact, it looks like a job more suitable for a gynaecologist rather than a hairy-***** mechanic.
So, is it going to be as difficult as it looks and not worth the hassle? Any tips or advice please would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
