Changing indicator relay / hazard switch

Hi,

As per title indicators knackered and need to change relay / hazard switch. Can i do this without removing the stereo (i have the part) as i don't have the correct tools? Can i get the fascia off without removing the stereo and without damaging it?

2000 pre-facelift S3.

Not too sure about the pre facelift, but with the facelifts, you can just prise the hazard switch out, but just be careful not to scratch the surround.

cheers mate but need to get the fascia off to get at it. looks like it's one piece running to right below the ashtray and the fascia doesn't want to simply be prised off!!

We tried prising mine, off, and broke a small piece off of it. Mine is a 2002, and I am led to believe the 2001 [face lift] ones are easier to prise off, or maybe it was just one??? Not sure about the pre faclift model I am afraid.
