Changing steering wheel

I’m going to attempt to replace my steering wheel with a flat bottom one I have gotten, i’m going to follow this guide http://www.audienthusiasts.com/ProjectSteeringSwap.html
Is there anything I need to watch out for l? A friend told me to watch out for the airbag sensors? but if the batteries disconnected I can’t see this being a problem?

Since having a little play I’ve found that my wiring loom for the horn has a smaller spade connection than the ‘new’ one also there seems to be another ground connection again with a bigger spade connection than my loom, also there seems to be another ground which are not common after belling them out.. I’ll be taking to a auto electtrion unless anyone can tell me what the extra ground is for.. I can change over spade connections no problem.
