I always on the look out for cheapo PCH deals so thought I may as well share

I appreciate leasing doesn't work for everyone, but TBH I like changing my cars every 2 years. This coupled with the fact I don't do massive mileages, makes leasing work for me
No more depreciation and no more road tax to pay when doing PCH

It is considered that 25% of the total lease cost (incl. admin fee's) of the cars RRP is a good deal
20% and better is excellent

Great explanation of PCH by @DrEskimo

Basically leasing is for people that want new cars every couple of years, and use deals like this in order to beat the amount of depreciation you would pay had you bought it from new with a discount. Leasing companies achieve this through bulk buying.

E.g.

BMW M4 = £64,000
Discounted using Coast2Coast = £55,000
Predicted value after 24m/16k miles = £34,000

Total cost = £21,000

So this lease would save you about £4,500 over buying it outright. Assuming of course you have zero intentions of driving it more than 16,000 miles and definitely will swap it after 24months.

If you add options, the difference reduces as you get discount on options when buying outright, whereas you are liable for full cost on a lease.

That M4 is a cracking deal.

Completely agree with this PCH is definitely a great option these days. I think a few years ago it had a bit of a stigma around it that you didn't 'own' the car. But who cares! Leon Cupra offer is good its finding a car is the problem as they are in large demand and short supply. There are some great offers for A4's going around at the moment as well.

Just got this deal in from Stable Vehicle Leasing. Not looked elsewhere but this is cheap for an S4 lease, probably cheaper than and S3 SB imho.

The main thing with leasing (I think) it to stick as close as possible to standard offering (which I struggle with) then is is most cost effective (something else I am poor at).

Oh well, when I look into next car in a couple or 3 years....really need to keep this one longer I will definitely look into:

- PCH
- Personal loan (take PCP deal, and settle within 2 weeks.
- PCP
- whatever else is in offer at the time

Yes appreciate that as you posted 04/04. I only came across this thread today But even still, was a great thread.

Always worth keeping an eye out, remember a colleague of mine picked up a S8 for under £500 p/m on a lease deal, was a £80k+ motor

Not that I would personally go for that size car, but at the time he was on lookout for nice size saloon, and ended up with that beast (well beast compared to a 2.0 TDI )

There are some great deals available, the issue i have found is the lead time.

Had looked into a Cupra300 DSG but was a 24-28week lead time.

Found an A4 deal for June/July delivery (in May) but after ordering, its changed to October/November.

I also contacted Nationwide vehicle contracts about 3 potential "in stock" vehicles and they failed to get back in touch... useless.

Below deals valid till the end of October 2018
