cheap places for good tyres?

Looking at getting four (possibly five!) new tyres soon for the new S4 Avus alloys and was wondering if people had any tips for best prices, etc?

All prices I've found so far are listed below... for fully fitted, inc VAT, 235/40/18 tyres:

Probably going to go with the Toyo Proxes T1-R's...

Only other option I've been looking at seriously has been Vredestein ULTRAC SESSANTAat £117.50 per corner, but they are properly asymetric.... probably more-so than my little mind can cope with!

Either way, I'm probably getting for decently sporty tyres for the new alloys and then one cheapish symetrical for the spare (it's also an 18" S4 Avus, so same spec tyre, but just symetrical!).

I know I can run 225/40/18's fine and am still half-considering it, but was jsut wanting to make sure that I'm not missing a trick!

I guess one work-around is to get them delivered to me and then fitted by the guys refurbishing my alloys....

Try Camskill - £104.90 a corner for Toyo's, tyre only though.

Use blackcircles and select local fitting. This will give you the numbers of their recommended fitters then phone them direct and they will beat the black circles price. This is what I did a few years back and am still using the same brilliant local fitter. No more shopping around as he always has the best price.

I've done that before too... pretty sure I can get them fitted this time though (by the bloke refurbing my alloys)....

I'm sure the wouldn't charge alot to fit tyres if there already refurbing the rims.

You could also get the tyres delivered to them saving you the hassle of taking them there yourself.

dsm - thanks for the link, but most places are £100-£110 delivered and £120-£135 fitted.... unless delti will do the fitting for <£2.50 extra?

I think I'm going £125/corner @ tyrexpress.com as I'm probably not gonna be able to get the wheels to the refurb place before I need to pick mine up...
