Well my car is boing me to tears right now so its going so i can have a nice shiny new bike!
Wont be until september/october, car will have a full MOT
'97 1.6 A3 sport
110,000 miles
No history as such - old MOT's and receipts somewhere.
In roughly the past year its had:
2 new front bearings inc carriers
2 new front springs
New Power steering pump
Front and rear discs and pads
New starter motor
OSF Abs Sensor
Had new Cambelt at 82k about a year ago.
Will have new steering column by the end of the month.
The car is in good condition, though not perfect(it is ten years old)
Has a private plate but this will be coming off unless somebody offers me a bit extra cash for it.
has the famous rust at the bottom of the doors - not been to audi but with some luck it should be covered under warranty otherwise its £150 paint job.
Car has overall been really reliable and stress free so will be a shame to see it go really.
I know its not worth much and im not looking for alot of cash for it - so if anybody here or that you know is after a cheapish, reliable car then drop me a pm and ill get in contact - it will go in classifieds next month too with lots of pics - cant be bothered just now.
Also any ideas on what i should be asking for it would be helpful, auto trader has some wildly varying prices!
