IIRC, If you crash a car within the first year or something, some insurance companys give you a new one.

It may have just had a little bump and has been repaired.

Cat D is the lightest damaged possible, chances are the owner got a brand new replacement.

Theres a black Cat C repaired on the Autotrader for £14.995! Now thats a bargain!

Oh and accidents can happen any time you know! Its age is irrelevant, my guess is inexperienced driver gets fast car, gets caught out and hello hedge!

Anyway, if RRP is in fact 32K (which it cant be with that spec) then it would be probably nearer 29k with discount, and now its used (lightly) and pre-owned, you would probably get it for 26K in an un recorded condition, so on that basis 23k isnt what I would call particularly cheap for one thats been stuffed.

And I reckon you could have problems getting AUDI to honour any future warranty work.
Not the sort of thing I would want to spend 23K on.
Good luck to them, but its a daft price IMO.
23K gets you a LOT of used S3 theses days. Why pay top dollar for one thats been in a ditch?

Oh, and if you decide to stick into a ditch again, the insurance company will offer you around 60% of trade value. Which I would guess is less than 15K ?

And are people goign to fall for the 'very rare car' - also why are they listing the 'ambition' spec - I didnt think we got that over here, I thought that was German / European spec descriptor?
