Just up from a dealership near me earlier, barely back from a test drive, and the DVLA pounced and clamped it for having no tax, even tho the trade plates are clearly on show! (had one hanging on the back).

Made me chuckle!

(I didnt test drive it btw! I was browsing other cars)

Definitely DVLA and not some cowboy clamper?

Maybe someone's been using it far too often as a personal car.

Definately DVLA, I see it pull back up from a test drive (was a couple with a salesman) whilst I was browsing around the forecourt and showroom, but by the time I was getting back into mine, it was clamped! They must have been quite quick!

Seen something like this before - DVLA pounced on a Mitsubishi dealer in my town who had parked some new cars that had just been delivered outside the dealership. Think the dealer took two hours too long making space in their compound when they clamped the cars with Police back up!

Well I had to drive past that dealers again last night, and it was unclamped and back on the forcourt so they sorted it fairly quick!
