Clean front windshield camera

Hello,
Do you know please if i can remove and clean the front windshield camera on my 2016 RS3, i have some sort of fog in it, everything is working but it is ugly.

Not something that you should try yourself mate. It will need to be re-calibrated if it is removed which will need some specialist tools.

The cheapest way to do this would be if your windshield had an unfortunate accident (such as a flying hammer or brick) and you got it replaced on insurance

I went to windshield specialists, they removed the plastic, the camera and the second plastic that we see outside, we cleaned the windshield from inside and now it is perfect, no need to recalibrate anything.

Thats great. Just check your lane assist and such is working as it should. Usually when that is removed a recalibration is done, but no doubt they know what they're doing.
