Hi All,

Decided to drive to watch a mates football this afternoon.

I put my foot on the clutch and it just dropped halfway!

The biting point is still there but it's doesn't go back to normal position unless I use my foot to pop it back up where again it will drop when I change gear...

Is this a pedal out master cylinder job?

The clutch engages fine in all gears ...

Any ideas are greatly appreciated...

Just went to move it now it won't change gear unless I start the car in gear and its a struggle to get it into the next gear... I have to turn the engine off each time I come to a standstill...felt behind the clutch pedal for anything leaking but nothing just some thin circular wobbly thing that might have snapped off maybe...again once in gear the car was driving fine no shakes and changed to second gear for a while but when I wanted to change gear again it played up :( :(

Sounds like the slave cylinder has gone or is going.

Hopefully I'm wrong and its something more simple!
