Clutch pedal stays on the floor...

[MACCAA]

Have a friend with a facelift S3 manual that when given a decent rev[ie on the Track]has the distubing habit of the clutch pedal sticking on the floor after a gearchange.
Clutch operates as normal,but the pedal has to be 'assisted" from the floor with your toes...
Anyone who knows of this or has heard of it?
