Coilover adjusters out?

Hi,

My coilovers are wound right down on the back and it isnt quite low enough for me!

Has anyone taken the adjusters out of theirs?

I realise that there would then be no adjustment on them but I think it would give me the extea 10mm I'm craving!

Is it safe to do so?

I've seen bits and bobs about people doing it on other makes and models but theres no info on safety side of things!

Mines the same, i've thought about removing the adjusters but just haven't got around to it yet. The adjusters will usually only give about 5mm extra as they aren't usually that thick.
The rear springs are usually pretty standard pigtail springs so should locate correctly in the spring pan so should be as safe as any other lowered spring.

I had the same prob and had 18" wheels now got 19" and it sits allot better.

I have 18" in winter and 19" in summer but just crave that bit more! is it something I would be able to get a garage to do or is it a diy job due to safety reasons?
