need help. i dropped my 53 plate b6 into a local mechanic to have a new set of coilovers put on. the problem i have is that the rear spring perch i received is the reverse to the car. the existing perch when removed has a hollow and there is a dome attached to the car which sleeves the 2 together. the new perch has a protruding disc on the base preventing being being able to mount it.its missing the hollow.
can anyone point me in the right direction to solve this? is the new perch the wrong one or is the part on the car incorrect?
