Has anyone tried one of these, been looking at one for a R32 golf which looks like it would fit.

I had a volant intake kit on mine for a while, this was off a a5 3.2v6. It fitted but needs some additional ducting from a b8 A4 or an a5 to mate the main air intake to the box, also needs some pipe work to duct into the fog light and wheel well correctly. I removed it to modify and add the ducting but never got round to it. It is for sale if you're interested.
This is it on an a5

The r32 golf is a completely different engine but in theory a cold air kit is just pipe, box and filter so I'm sure some of the kits will work. However the r32 is transverse mounted and the A4 longitudinally mounted. The inlet pipe on the r32 runs across the back and down to the front passenger side of the bay so the pipe work will be totally wrong as will any of the ducting.
Something like the bmc cda kits would be relatively easy to fit and route ducting for.

Aside from the b7 s4 kits from carbonio /Apr which are mega expensive the other option would be the injen kit for a b8 s4

Hi pete, thanks for the reply, why did you take it off and do you have all the ducting bits you mentioned

I don't have the extra ducting, but it's only £15 or so on eBay.
I took it off to do the ducting but then bought an S4 instead.

Sorry I've been away, there is a picture of it in my cab for sale thread (link in my signature below). Was looking for what I paid which was £150.
