Cold starting trouble!

Had cold starting problems. Battery was checked all in order, changed the glow plugs only a week ago, but the problem remains. Any ideas?

Possibly the timing? What engine is it?

The type of car, engine, age etc would help.

Also have you had any vag-com (or similar diagnostics done), all these things will help aiding any diagnosis.
