Connecting phone to aux port

Hi so new to this. Just got my new audi s3 8p 2008 and cant seem to connect my samsung s8 to aux, is this even possible? Tried a 3.5mm jack to jack so far

You need a bluetooth module iirc

With RNS-E:
you need an aux cable, about £13 on ebay
software version needs to be 650 or newer, buy a new nav DVD again £15 off ebay if you need to update.
aux needs to be enabled with vcds
Then you get to it with cd/tv, source and you'll get CD, MP3 and AUX as the options.
